Our city is a shining symbol of prosperity that draws people from neighboring areas to work and spend their resources, but to maintain this status, we require leaders who prioritize the needs of the people over political agendas. As your representative for City Council, I am dedicated to finding solutions that enrich our community, provide support for our devoted first responders, teachers, and promote equal economic opportunities for all of our residents.

*Affordable Housing for Workers:
Our hardworking residents need a place to call home without breaking the bank. The average cost of a 2-3 bedroom rental in the city is around $2000.-$2500. And the medium home price to purchase a home in the city is in the $450,000 ballpark. These prices do not allow for many who work in the City of Fredericksburg to live here. I will work tirelessly with our other elected officials to bring more affordable workforce housing options, ensuring that teachers, nurses, tradespeople, and others who make this city a bright place to call home.

*Fair Pay for First Responders and Teachers:
Our police officers and firefighters risk their lives every day to protect us. Our teachers shape the minds of our future leaders. It's time they get the pay and benefits they deserve, so they do not have to leave us in order to get better pay up north. I will fight for higher wages, better resources, and the support they need to serve us safely and effectively.

A thriving economy starts with bringing in new businesses and fostering local entrepreneurs. By cutting red tape, supporting small businesses, and creating incentives for growth, we can create more jobs and make our city a place of opportunity.
