Community First: Why I’m Running for Fredericksburg City Council

When I decided to run for Fredericksburg City Council, I wasn’t stepping into something new—I am building on years of service to our community. Long before I considered public office, I was working alongside neighbors, rolling up my sleeves, and doing the hard but meaningful work of community service with the Fredericksburg Realtors Foundation, The Community Service Committee, Operation Hood, Loisann’s Hope House and The Fredericksburg Host Lions Club.

Whether it was organizing local clean-up efforts, mentoring young people, volunteering with food distribution programs, or advocating for safer streets and more inclusive spaces, I’ve been deeply engaged with the people and issues that matter most to the Fredericksburg region. These experiences weren’t photo ops. They were real moments of connection, where I listened, learned, and acted.

Through this work, I’ve gained a firsthand understanding of what Fredericksburg needs—not from reports or surveys, but from conversations on front porches, on the street, and at charity events. I’ve seen where the city shines, and where we still have work to do. I know what it takes to build trust, navigate challenges, and turn good intentions into real results.

Now, I’m ready to take that experience to City Hall. I’m not running to be a politician—I’m running to be a servant-leader who puts community first. My record of service proves that I don’t just talk about change—I show up and do the work. I understand the power of listening, the importance of follow-through, and the value of working together to solve problems.

When you vote for me, you’re voting for someone who already has a track record of putting Fredericksburg first. Someone who knows this city, loves this city, and has already invested countless hours into making it better. Now I’m ready to take that commitment to the next level.

Fredericksburg deserves a council member who leads with heart, listens with humility, and works with integrity. I hope to earn your vote—and the opportunity to keep serving the community we all call home.
